Air testing for mold, allergens and other pollutants helps identify and quantify hidden or unknown problems. It can also confirm the success of past water damage repairs, or verify suspicions based on musty odors or health symptoms. Air samples will be taken with the help of your remote inspector using the kit’s loaner air pump, by drawing air through spore traps. The included spore traps are then sent in for lab analysis along with the loaner air sampling pump, each using their respective included pre-paid mailers.

The remote inspection carefully focuses on your specific concerns and aims to identify the underlying causes of the problems in order to prevent them from recurring in the future. During the inspection, your inspector may request to be shown various areas of your home and answer a few questions designed to help them better understand what may be contributing to your indoor air quality issues.
